We’re delighted to announce we’ll be repping sensory filmmaker Sasha Rainbow this side of the world.
A Kiwi director, she’s proven herself internationally with great work done in all corners of the globe. Sasha is best known for her provocative pieces that highlight social causes.
Sasha won Voice of a Women 2018, for her film Placebo: Life’s what you make it.
Life’s what you make it was also nominated for best cinematography at the UK Music Video Awards in 2017.
Sasha’s music video Wild Beast: Alpha Female went viral after first Tony Hawk, then BBC caught wind of it, with over 600,000 views in the first week.
Sasha has been chosen to be part of 2018’s Bafta X BFI Network development programme.
She has several projects in the works: Kofi and Lartey, filmed in Ghana is about to go live. Kamalia, a documentary set in India, will be released in September. She is also writing Baxt Ali, her first feature film.
Sasha’s work has featured at many international festivals such as Amsterdam’s International Documentary Film Festival, The Berlin Fashion Film Festival and ASVOFF the world’s first fashion film festival.

Sasha is represented by Academy Plus in the United Kingdom, Reset in the United States and Boogie Nights in France.
