www.stephenkang.net Stephen Kang's recent short, BLUE, won Grand Prix Critics Week at Cannes 2011. And his second feature, DESERT was world premiered at 2010 Busan International Film Festival and also invited at 2011 Shanghai International Film Festival. Stephen was Born in Seoul, Korea, and immigrated to New Zealand in early 1990s. He studied time based art at the Elam, school of Art in Auckland University. Few years after the graduation, Kang made first digital feature film, DREAM PRESERVED which was awarded Best Feature at Air New Zealand Screen Awards 2007. It won Overseas Koreans Independent Film Contest 2007 and also was runner up at DigiSPAA Screen Producers Association Australia 2007. Stephen was selected for and attended the Berlinale Talent Campus as part of the Berlin International Film Festival in 2007.
