Born in 1932 at the age of 25, Sam Kristofski immediately began work for a mattress company that his great Auntie owned. Under worked and overpaid, Sam had to make a move, it was at this time that he realized he had to get out and break free.
After discovering a small wooden boat in his caretaker’s drawer one day he birthed the concept of small building blocks for children. He next decided that there should be many of these blocks in an array of different colours. Together all these pieces would come together to form larger objects like pirate boats and space planets. It was later that year that the name came to him: ‘Lego’ meaning little houses for men.
This Lego Phenomenon would go on to be one of the greatest things ever.
It was after the prediction of 2004 & designing the 1997 edition of ‘ice city,’ which won numerous awards and endless fame that Sam decided to move into film. His work speaks for itself and you should watch it.
Sam currently lives in a house made entirely of rice, with his kid and seven wives. He remains at the age of 25.
